With over five years of diverse legal experience, my focus lies primarily in commercial law.
I’ve acted on a wide range of matters, including business sales and purchases, corporate governance, contract drafting, residential and commercial property transactions, leasing, relationship property, finance and securities, intellectual property, insolvency, asset protection and employment law.
My recent experiences include:
- Acting on the sale of a client’s business of over $20,000,000.00;
- Drafting shareholders’ agreements and constitutions for various businesses;
- Acting on franchise transactions in respect of large New Zealand and Australian franchises;
- Acting on the acquisition of notable local and international businesses and brands; and
- Negotiating compensation awards in employment cases, including a severance package of over $100,000.00.
I pride myself on being approachable and ensuring that clients receive clear guidance in navigating the often complex legal system.
In addition to my Bachelor of Laws I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication Studies.
